Merc C32 vs Audi S4
I have an 01 merc C32 estate which I'm thinking about swapping for a 04 s4 avant.
Anyone had experience with both?
I know the merc will be quicker in a straight line but would have thought the audi would have been quicker point to point.
I love the C32 but just want something fresher better sat nav, ipod connection etc.

I have an S4 saloon, but not driven the Merc.
I imagine the two cars are very similar, and surely not worth swapping just for sat nav (£120 TomTom?) or iPod connection (£50 from local ICE fitters?).
I like my car very much. Highlights for me are the V8 and 4WD, which I guess are the key differences over the Merc. I'm less keen on 20-23mpg.
If you were going for an RS4 I'd understand. I just think an S4 is maybe neither a step up, nor even much of a change.
