Default Just Finished Playing With Ar Lass's Pu.....

egeot 306 D-Turbo
Having been made redundant in the last few weeks i decided to catch up with a few outstanding jobs on our cars. Got the Scoobs alarm sorted so now for the 306, went on pug306 forum and got side tracked as i realised how easy they are to tune . So away i went, turned up the boost compensator and the main fuel pump then fitted a boost gauge, underneath for a look at the adjustable actuator arm on the Garret turbo, tightened that up by 2 turns and hay presto 18psi
The car now goes like stink (compered to what it was). Not a bad improvment for an hour on the net and an hour and a halfs work, she's well chuffed

Here are pictures of my old Pug 3-6 year ago! The TMIC & FMIC with the boost turned up fuel pressure made it go link stink and made 132bhp on the rollers, Not bad from a 90bhp tdi

I had amate who did the same thing to the same car, and the car melted head gaskets for fun after the new power, so be careful!

Supposedly Peugeot detuned the td's from 120bhp to 95bhp because they intruded on the XSI's territory, but watch the MY98 ones, for some reason they had a tendency to pop pistons through the block for no reason, it was a different block though which may have had something to do with it....
