Mr friend had one he found his gave him the ability to on first name terms with your local Renault dealer and all staff, the quirky little touches like air intake to the engine on the bottom of the car (avoid the wet), the security control unit being installed in the engine bay covered by a thin “icecream container” that when it gets damp immobilises the car, thin plastic bumpers front and back etc etc
It may have been a made on a Friday afternoon car but headache was too much and he chopped it in for another different manufacturer.

My friend also has one. He does love it, but I've been in it, and driven it once. Nothing special to be honest. OK maybe if you want a change, but I would deffo stick with your scoob.

I got offered one (thought it was the same one but the one I was offered lived in Norwich). After a long test drive I quickly learned that it wasnt half the car my STi is.
I had visions of a newer car with low running costs, from what I have been told this is far from the case.
Stick with the scoob if I was you.

another thing if you see the last series of fifth gear they showed it took up to an hour just to changed a headlight bulb, in the manual it says take it to main dealer to be changed.
