I know next year will bring plummeting values but those seem odd prices

But have you seen the price of cars falling?

I was on the lookout for an 06 BMW 520d M Sport 2 months ago, prices were around £22-24k

Now there are loads of 06 530d's knocking about for £18-20k

Its madness, i can't wait to get a new car now, the longer i'm holding out the better the car i'm getting

Massively quick once you get them remapped

I was driving a 300bhp demo version yesterday while I was having my induction kit fitted to my own ST and it was awesome, just stupidly fast (even more so than my own 270/280bhp version) and great traction even though it was tipping it down.

They are not on lease agreements, they just get about 25% off the purchase price from Ford which means they can pick up a new ST for circa £13k, but they are not allowed to sell on for at least 9 months.

Not quite correct...If they are Tax Free then they have to keep them 12 months 25% off + the VAT off. If they are tax paid then there is no condition on resale, 25% off.

I am on my 5th new ST

made £700 on the first, £600 on the second, third one was a straight swap 4th cost me £400 and the last one cost me £500...

So I'm still £400 up and have a 58 ST2... not sure how much longer I will be able to do this as there are now loads available second hand and the re sale prices are dropping like mad...

Stand corrected, I knew it was something along those lines though as I was going to buy your last one but you were too far away
