Default Vibration in the car.

Hi all,

I have a vibration that occurs from 65mph onwards. I have had all the wheels balanced and replaced the 2 front tyres but still get the vibration. The vibration seems to be felt through the car and not the steering wheel. Can anyone advice me on what else to check please?
The car is an 04 Audi A4 S-line 1.9tdi
Thanks.
Gavin

Might be worth checking the shocks for leaks and damping effectiveness.

It is certainly the right sort of speed to get vibration from an out of balance wheel. Were the wheels balanced off the car, could be an out of balance brake causing it. Normally you would expect to feel it through the wheel unless it is at the rear. It could also be the propellor shaft of course.

A wise man one told me, vibration through the steering wheel check the front (discs, hubs, pads, etc), vibration through the dash check the rear (discs, hubs, pads, etc).
