Default MK 1 RS2000 Escort

Your help and advice is needed guys.

As part of an ongoing business deal i have been offered a MK1 RS2000 Escort.

It is cream in colour with Blue decals, the bodywork is mint and i do mean mint condition it has a proven 39k on the clock + a full MOT.

The car has also just had a new gearbox and prop shaft fitted (Receipts to prove) It looks stunning apart from its basic inside in todays terms.

I can take the car today if i want but need to know an idea of its value and also where is a good place to try and sell it.

Zippy

Very sort after now, genuine AVO mint /fully restored ones go for £10000-£15000. Pistonheads, RSOC, AVO owners, all good places for selling, I would have it myself, re- live my youth, but I have to many toys already

It is Diamond white but its more creamy white when you get up close, the RS 4 spoke wheels are also the same colour blue as the decals on the car,i have just driven it and its quick, very tail happy if you want it to be.

Its got decent seats in it as well for a 1973 car, quite supportive, the 3 spoke steering wheel brings back memories of the old Capris.

I think i will have it, until i sell it.

I will get some pictures up as soon as possible.

It looks identical to the white one if you click the MK1 RS2000 link.

Here is the exact car it is still advertised on e-bay

It sold previously i have since found out but the prop shaft failed after it was bought, he gave a full refund to the buyer, hence why it has had a new gearbox and prop shaft fitted since.

It has been used in the past, it has done 39k not a great deal in all fairness but in the last 18months its only done 50 miles.

It attracts so much attention when on the road, everybody wants to have a look, its retro and cool, i was suprised how quick it is and it makes a great noise.

Still i'm not intending keeping it, if i get a good offer it goes.
