Default LPG conversions + BMWs

Just curious, was thinking about some of the larger engined BMWs (5 and 7 series mostly) and like the idea of RWD, decent build and all the creature conforts - with a bit of go when you feel like it! I don't like the idea of huge petrol bills, so was wondering if anyone had come across LPG conversions for BMWs, knew about their reliability etc...

There are a few on autotrader already pre-fitted (which I'd prefer, let someone else take the hit of conversion!) - anyone driven an LPG converted 3-4 litre BM??

Biggest car I know of that's been LPG'd is a mate's Omega 2.5 V6 auto.

He's been running it for 3+ years converted and swears by it, his local Morrison's has the lpg so it's no hassle to fill and he believes he gets the same consumption (to within 2 / 3 mpg).

He claims no difference in performance, but I've not driven it.

same here i know someone at work who has got his range rover done 4.0ltr i think it is.
he says no major difference in mpg to standard unleaded and performance is pretty much the same, only thing he does say is at the fuel station more often because the lpg tank is smaller than the standard petrol one.
