Suspension help required
I need some help replacing the suspension on my babe-magnet Fiat Siecento Sporting Arbath. I'm struggling to find anything from the normal manufacturers (Koni, Spax) and was wondering if anyone could provide help by suggesting a product and a retailer. Also, how difficult is it to change the suspension?
Many thanks.

Google is your friend:
Alloy Wheels, Body Kits, Tuning and Styling
Your lucky that you don't own a Daihatsu YRV turbo. Parts are a bugger, eneded up buying from Japan.
Probably also worth having a look out for a Fiat forum like scoobynet to get ideas on the suspension fitting etc...

That's great. Thank you very much. I don't know why I didn't find this site when I did my search. Do you reckon I could fit these myself or will I need a specialist hammer?

At the very least you will need a half tidy socket set, a ball joint splitter and some coil spring compressor clamps and access to a bench vice would be helpful.
By the sounds of it (no offence intended) you have basic knowledge at best of the greasy art of mechanics so probably best to either invest in a haynes manual, seek help from a grease monkey orientated friend or pay a garage to do the work for you.
When you think about it their are a few things on a car that are very important - Tyres, Brakes, Suspension and steering.......... bodge one of them and you could not only put yourself but others at risk as well.
Just my thoughts - if you live near Soth Wales I'm happy to help.

p.s. coil spring replacement is fairly straight forward if you are fairly competent but could be a little dangerous if you have limited knowledge.

Gingerboy, thank you very much for your generous offer of help. Alas I am a long way from Wales. I think this one will be best left to the professionals. I am going to have a crack at changing the fuel pump though. If you're ever in Surrey and need a hammer I'd be happy to lend you any of mine.
