Ok i was reading somewhere taht the S4 has more power than the S3? i thought they used the same engine??

Also what are they like ? are they anygood? what are there 0-60 and top speeds? how much can u get 1 for????

the S3 uses 1 k04 turbo and the S4 uses k03 turbos

The S4 can be upgraded to 2 K04's to
Produce more power than an RS4......

i thought a s4 was based on the audi A4 which is similar to the A3??? they share the same engines like th 1.6 and 1.8 t and i thought they both had the same 1.8t 210 bhp units??? twin turboWOW. how much are they?

They are about £30k when fully spec'ed up. Not hugely fast (about the same as a UK Impreza) but a great touring car with effortless power and a very nice place to be. They can be tuned to about 450+bhp

A3 (S3) and A4(S4) are very different cars

where did to you get the same units 210 bhp from

The S3 Has a 210 bhp version of the 1.8T (Now 225 bhp)
and uses a k04 Turbo

The 1.8t in the A4 is a 150 bhp version using 1 k03 Turbo
i think they make a 180bhp Quattro version now as well
but it still uses the smaller turbo.....

Have a look at www.auto-amd.com Pick the car and it well tell what you can have done.....some have before and after rolling road graphs as well

Like 'em both, but that naff throttle/brake set-up is the death of 'em IMHO.

i.e. if you left foot brake, it will shut the trottle no matter what...it is the way it is set up.

Having said which, that's fine for 100% of the owners coz they accept it as a "feature" of the cars.
