Just a few years ago it was suggested by an expert that the future of performance cars would be Diesel powered.
Many suggested it would never happen.

It looks like he was right.

Can't see the V12 TDI being fun in the twisties due to the low rev range, but I bet in a straight line and over taking punch, it'll leave the V8 R8, and the uncoming V10 R8 for dead.

they have built it to sell diesel cars to the americans, all the hybrid 4x4's have been designed for the USA, europe has already gone down the diesel route, north america can't seem to grasp it

through the twisty's it should be very quick, less gear changes and massive exiting speed
