I hope this becomes a reality!!!!

I loved my old Focus RS, but 2wd just let it down a bit and other then dry weather the car was useless, but 4wd and 350bhp as standard, im pretty sure that there would be a long waiting list for this car!!!

TBH it has been rumour that Ford have 2 test mules. One with FWD and another with 4WD.

Guess we'll have to wait and see. If this guy who wrote the article did indeed look underneath and see a Diff, then 4WD could well be on the cards.

Might wait to see if the rumour of a Golf R36 out in 2009 become true.
3.6 litre V6 and 310BHP.

The R36 is a definite, they already do a Passat R36 and the Golf R32 is already 4wd and DSG equipped. So they will just retune the Passat R36 engine (for more aggressive delivery and perhaps a little more hp), put it in the new 4wd Golf (out in late 2008) with the new stage-2 DSG, add the usual trick suspension and brakes, and there you have the R36. Expected mid-2009.
