which sports car for upto £25k pics please
I'm seriously thinking about changing the Scoob in ..... now the wife is learning to drive I need to get her a 4 door runaround for her and the kids .... which leave's me to buy a new car including a two seater
Been thinking about a Noble ,and a FQ320...... not really sure what else to look at
£25k would be a top budget and from a dealer as it would most likely take too long to sell mine .....
Nothing older than a 2002
help scoobynetters

I'm very happy with my Evo, although it wont be much of a change for you if you are looking for a change from the Scoob.
You could look at an M3 maybe, which is a fabulous car, but for me the Evo was far more exciting. I also tried a Lotus Elise, but it felt a bit kit car, and with a rather un-charismatic engine for something so expensive; fab poise/balance though.
A car I absolutely loved was my TVR Griffith - if you are man enough and want to save a few bob

How about..
MACWEST MOTORS : RS500 COSWORTH 500+BHP
Not quite a sports car but a little special all the same...
Otherwise I'd go with the Noble M12.
Possibly Porsche 964 Turbo.

I do love some of the replies to questions like this. I bet by the time this thread runs it's course 99% of the suggestions will have been dismissed by the original poster as totally unsuitable/ridiculous. When push comes to shove you just know he's going to choose something like a Boxster or Z4M and a quality Jap/Euro box to transport the family.

Cheers for the comments .... I am honestly considering a boxster - not a fantasy ... and honestly want others thoughts/comments..
Have owned a z3 in the past and do like the look of a z4 but it is nothing special i feel .... just my opinion - plus i do want something as powerful as mine at the moment maybe a little more
I love the noble m12 .... but it is maybe not for me just yet , parts-service might be a nightmare + i am looking to take my business into a new market and there may not be enough noble owners out there ....
Just gotta kick the wife into gear so i can buy her astra for her .... hehe

the one thing to consider is that wife's insurance will eat up a decent-sized wedge, due to being a new driver.
Get her a sh1tbox rover, and spend the rest on something nice for you

Go for the Boxster It's a great car, OK not loads of straight line power but a lovely sound and the handling is fantastic, as a mid engined sports car should be. The quality is excellent and have 20,000 mile service intervals. I nick my wife's one now and then when I don't want to go as fast as my family forester
