Scorpio (that ugly thing)
Was thinking yesterday that one of these would make a good sleeper, when we were buying our new Galaxy one had come in as PX and was sat looking forlorn in the corner of the yard, I could have got it for pennies but thought that I would never be able to sell it again, bog spec 4 cyl manual.
Got me thinking, these were RWD and meant to handle quite well, what are the possibilities of putting a Cosworth YB in there, would it be an easy enough job apart perhaps from the wiring.
Ok, I know they did a Cosworth version but it was the N/A 24 valve 200 bhp engine, I was thinking more along the lines of 350/400 bhp YB ?
When you see one, you just feel sorry for the owner, you did when they were new but now its total pity they are so ugly, but can you imagine the joy of smoking an M3 with a standard looking "Gob Frog" complete with plastic wheel trims....

My father in law had one. Terrible car to maintain for lack of parts, and lack of garages [other than the dealer] that want to deal with them.
It also had an ABS problem that he spent a fortune trying to fix and it was still broke when it ran out of MOT and he sold it for several thousand less than he bought it for. This was some time ago.......
