Ian Callum was saying in an Evo article that it doesn't photograph well and looks much better in the flesh. Bit like me then...

Its a cracking car, pity it doesnt have the praciticality of what i am after. I liked the gear switch & the fan trickery. Well put together.

If i was after a 4dr saloon this would have been top of my list.

Although it really is just a tarted up mondeo

As soon as I saw it, it reminded me of the Mundano.

Have you seen one in the flesh ?

It is a stunning thing, the new Mondeo is a nice looking car but this is something else and despite what people are saying its RWD not FWD, its isnt based on the Mondeo, to be honest being based on the Mondeo isnt such a bad thing anyway, ts one of the best chassis in the business. The XF is the updated S-Type/Lincoln chassis.

I wasnt all that impressed in photos but in the flesh, it just looks right.

Ok so rewind ~50 years to the unveiling of the XK120 - does this really have any impact AT ALL when compared to the average ford

I was just going to post about this car.

Think it looks amazing, and I've had a quick look at the Jag website and it seems very well priced, £37k start for a diesel version.

Can't wait to see one in the flesh.

I don't like the front. Sat in one earlier in the week, quite a nice clean interior although the switches could have been a little heavier weighted. The transmission tunnel is quite high.

Maybe I'm easily pleased, but I don't think I've every thought this about anything

You might not have thought about it consciously, but these things do add to the combined sense of quality you perceive.

Jaguar in Reading have a test drive event today. I'm going to pop along if I have time.
