Audi TT Coupe
Model in question is the current shape Coupe (07/08) with the 200ps 2.0FSi engine 200ps. Does anyone have any experience of this model??
Not actually been able to drive one as local dealer doesnt have any in stock, but had a good look around a 3.2 Quattro model and it seems like a nice progression from the original design.. even though a couple of unique features have been lost.. and from the brochure, it appears like the 2.0FSi engine gives a good blend of performance/economy. However, would really like to hear from people that have owned/driven one for a reasonable while to see how realistic it is to get close to the suggested figures and what it was like to live with.
Cheers,
Grant

Slightly relevant (same engine). I have a VW Passat 'variant' with the same 200ps TFSi engine and its a powerful yet frugal gem. Solid acceleration from 1500rpm all the way to almost 6000rpm. It seems to get an extra spurt at 4500 or so too (VVT)?
About 50% of my miles so far are from commuting and still it has averaged 31mpg in spite of my heavy right foot. Forester Turbo averaged 24 mpg for the same.
Passat is heavier than the TT, so you should expect to do 35mpg under the same conditions. Worst real-time consumption reported by the onboard computer to date was just 10mpg whilst doing 140mph on the autobahn with a roofbox!
