Hello

My friend has a Nov 2002 Seat Leon Cupra R and has had some problems with the turbo and exhaust. He wants to find a good, local, reliable tuner/mechanics in the Ilford, Essex area...any ideas. The guy does not really know much about cars and needs someone/somewhere that won't just rip him off (he's been there and done that!).

I suggested Powerstation and Kim Collins (MTM Audi tuners?) but I am not sure if they are too far. I also mentioned 'Jabbasport' but he stated that was too far!

check out tuning werkes in croydon. guy named reuben worked on my ibiza cupra. it's actually featured in this month's golf+ mag! his number his 0208 681 0208. very reputable VAG tuner.

Best bet is for him to log onto SEATCupra.net - Your #1 source for SEAT information - Home and ask for advice. His problems will probably be generic and will have been covered many times before.
