Default Fiesta heater stuck on

Hello,

Replacing the engine in my MY00 mk5 fiesta zetec-s so thought while it is out I will fix the problem that the heater is permanently on.

Is this likely to be the following:

BRAND NEW HEATER VALVE FORD FIESTA KA PUMA TRANSIT on eBay, also, Ford, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 30-Jan-08 08:52:07 GMT)

THe cable does seem to be moving something but heat is always on.

My girlfriend's fiesta is the same

Andy

Does sound like the valve is faulty,Have replaced a lot of these on fords and never found it to be anything else other than the valve.

Ah goodo. Excuse the ignorance, but is it in the engine bay or behind the dash ?

If this makes any sense its behind the dash in the engine bay, you will see some pipes with a squeezable jubilee clip and an electrical conecter, 10 mins to change but remember to fill the cooling system up with some antiifreeze.
