Alternator supplier in Derby
The alternator on my Golf 4Motion appears to be goosed so I'm trying to find a reasonablly priced replacement
I've tried car parts direct on Burton Rd but they don't list the 2.8
Does anyone know of a good supplier I can get one from? VW want £180+VAT
It looks like it is the 120 amp variant...

Try Midland Magneto - Nottingham in Nottingham, if they havnt got one they will be able to fix your old one...dont know how much though.

You can try Lucas on West Meadows...
Or Brocklehirst (opposite BuildBase)... they might be able to fix it.
Otherwise try some of the usual motorfactors...Morleys, Derby Motor Factors, Unipart
