I had a 206gti-180 and it was the worst newish car i've ever had

12000 miles on the clock and the electrics went haywire, i stopped outside a shop, took keys out and every warning light came on and wouldn't go out. I drove to the dealers and none of the gauges (speedo, rev counter, fuel, temps) worked?
The paintwork chipped too easily, it rattled and creaked, oh and the exhausts only last a short while as they snap over the rar axle

nice looking cars but the quality is poor

Mates mum had one and with the roof down it never felt like a convertible. Sitting in the front it was never felt like you were in a drop top, so as convertibles go it was pretty underwhelming.

I went to look at one last night with her - how small are they inside!!!

Being a typical woman she now wants a Polo!

My boss has one - very tinny feeling. It also needed a new gearbox at 15000 miles.

She has since changed her mind back to a cc and that was it so i went to Manchester to pick one up yesterday.

Actually think i got a bargin by looking at what all the others are going for. got a 51 plate with 20k, fpsh and great condition all round for 6.3k. The best bit is they gave a very good figure on the part ex (tbh i wouldn't have given half buy if they don't actually drive it)

Lets just hope the roof doesn't fail
