Saw a R8 over the weekend
Bright RED, up near the new Wembley on Saturday, thought it maybe a player on his way to the match.

I've seen the pics and I thought that it was a nice car. Then one was coming the other way on the way to work......
that is one car with serious road presence!!
There's quite a few around here (Hereford), as it's a wealthy area. Seen a load of these in the last couple of weeks, along with S5s, RS4s and RS4 Avants.
Oh well - will have to wait, although Wifey has given the go-ahead for a nice RS4 Avant
**must resist the temptation, and be sensible for a few months!!!!88

My friend is on the waiting list for an R8 but has found one in Ireland for only a 2K premium.
It's still costing him >90K with options tho'
I think the LED's under the headlights look a bit naff, like it's got big false eyelashes.
For that money I think I'd rather have an Aston.

A Red one lives across from us, looks superb - he also appears to have a new RS4 and a new M5 as well and delights in razzing them past our lounge everyday

I retract my previous statement as i've just driven one
I can safely say it is amazing and would be a very very tough choice between the two

Saw a black and silver one this afternoon in solihull. Can't make my mind up to be honest, i know i'm going to get flamed for this, but it looks like a FAT TT (flame suit on) and for that amount of money, i think i'll take something with a bit more pedigree
