Wink Oh well gone and got meself a little runabout

The temptation was too much, im missing the scoob and im not one for beating about the bush, id rather have another JDM new age or no scoob at all but the funds are still a bit lacking so im on a saving spree just now, but this was too much of a good thing to miss and ive owned 2 in the past, it wasnt a let down like some things you have in the past, it was as good as I remembered
(its the red one at the bottom of the page )

Buy a used PEUGEOT 306 - Auto Trader UK

84k, FPSH, has all the bits done that go wrong, radiator, ac pipes, new P6000's on the front (p6000's all round) new front brake pads and discs, none smokers car, stack of receipts, no nasty noises, engine sounds like it should do, lovely and smooth has that wonderful 306 GTi sound and the body work is in immaculate condition (no stone chips etc)
Should go well with the S16 give me a chance to compare both after the S16's brakes and exhaust are on and MOT'd and taxed

LOL

You just can't stay away from them...

I drove my old P1 GTi-6 a couple of weeks ago and it still brought a smile to my face, I'd definately have another.

I'll just start with the redex
As for the cars condition, well picked her up today that temp gauge still scares me, cant remember it going upto the mid/high 90's but she doesnt go any further (standing traffic, otherwise she runs ok ) but think she aint been ragged rotten, the gearbox is still very tight and the 2 rear p6000's have age cracks on them so will have to change them soon!

as above, mine runs at just below 90 unless in standing traffic, where it goes up a bit, but the fan kicks in then. They just don't like standing still

Cheers for that fans kick in ok, runs at about 80 on the motorway, knew they ran slightly hotter, just couldnt remember how much hotter lol.
Atleast the redex is doing its stuff now car still feels very responsive on the throttle, goes well and grips well (even with the P6000's on )
Service at the end of the month, change everything I think
