I'm not sure but my advise would be to ditch them. My brother recently changed his OE runflat's for some toyo T1R's on his cooper s and the difference was totally unbelievable!!! It is like a different car the ride quality is so much better the steering is sharper the car turn's in easier and the road noise is reduced.Apparently the chassis was never developed to run on runflats in the first place.

Nope
Was going with a mate in his Cooper S to a rave at the matterly bowl a few weeks ago that he was playing at....went over a cattle grid that we couldn't see on the back access road and fooked his tyres. had to replace them, couldn't be repaired.
Few days later, had to replace one of the runflat tyres on our 2000 mile old E90 as well after it got a screw in it.
The manufacturers and tyre makers are laughing all the way to the bank
Be aware that if you replace OEM runflats with normal tyres YOUR INSURANCE MAY NOT BE VALID.

No, you're not really getting it are you I guess they mean that if you had RFTs and changed to non RFTs and were going round a corner and your tyre burst causing you to lose control and write it off in a ditch they could say that they wouldn't pay out due to the fact that if you still had RFTs you wouldn't have lost control and crashed so the change to non RFTs caused the accident.

Our 520d Msport has RFT as standard on 18"s.
The ride was crap on the test drive so I opted for the 19" non RFT and it's a very comfy ride.
Overall though all the BMW's come with RFT's unless you get the bigger wheels.
And I get a spare wheel too...
