Suggest a 7-seater for under £5k ...?
Okay, possible the least exciting Other Marques thread for a long time, but my brother and his family need a new motor to cart themselves around in due to the untimely demise of their Renault Espace!
Reliability, low running costs, and seven seats are the main requirements. He's asked me if I can come up with any alternatives, so I was just wondering if any of you lot could come up with anything worth considering?
My immediate thought was to seek out a good, seven seat W124 E-Class (based on the fact that they are reputed to last forever ...!). Other thought was a C4 chassis (94-97) Audi A6 as I know they were also available in 7-seat flavour too ....
Or is his idea of a Vauxhall Zafira better ....?
