Are these any good? I'm thinking of buying one to use as my daily driver but would like to know if they are good on fuel and reliability?

If you lead foot it all the time it'll drink fuel, if you drive it sensibly on the commute it'll do 30-32mpg easily. Its like any car, if you rag it you'll use more fuel
Very reliable tho, mines done three years in my service and only once let me down when a none OEM battery fused itself at a petrol station, leaving me to jump start it to get home...

Evo rated the Teg as one of the best FWD cars of all time......I had the pleasure of owning a black one for a year..........my only regret was selling her.....one of the most stupid things I have ever decided to do........she only had 36k on the clock when I 'decided' to let her go
What is ironic is I could have sold her now for exactly the price or more than I did get for her back then........one of the only times I would have ever owned a car that had minimal or no depreciation. (Although I recognise this may have been more down to the very low mileage and condition she was in vs demand for that condition.
If you can get a good one and you like revving engines and cornering then I would be staggered if you didn't "get it....."

I agree with your sentiments tho, I've still got mine as I can't think of a worthy replacement (that I can afford or justify)...

I used to have the Civic 1.8VTi-S that use used the same engine and suspension as the Integra DC2 . In my Civic the suspension was softened a bit and the 1.8 engine detuned to 170bhp but apart from that felt an awesome car to drive. The handling was amazing and at times wish I kept it for more than the 6 years I did instead of buying my classic Scoob T2000.
