I run a 200bhp Caterham and I can tell you thats more than enough to put some serious laps in... over 2 times that power... I think slicks will be a must - would love to have a few laps in that!!
I currently have a 1400cc turbo k series sitting on an engine stand, no major body mods to drop in - should run approx 180bhp on low boost with almost no lag (using SAAB turbo). Wont be as fast on track as my current car but the torque in 3rd will be something else in a 470kg car...
