facelift forester sti
Testing one of these tomorrow.
Anyone got / driven one?
Thoughts?
Do the rear seats collapse?
Will it fit bikes in the back?
cheers

Have an Black MY06 Foz Sti with Litchfields Performance Pack.
There are a few threads on here (search is good) about them but in short to answer your immediate questions.
Yes the rear seats fold down 60:40 split. Not sure about bikes in the back with seats up but it's a pretty big space so would guess it would be fairly easy with front tyres off? It's a fair bit bigger than the Impreza wagon is back there.
Driving, it's fantastic Loads of ooomph, quiet subtle to look at, much, much better round B-roads than you would imagine. Has tons of grip and would say is harder sprung and has less roll than my MY05 Impreza wagon.
Motorway driving with long 4th/5th/6th economy isnae bad (high 20's-30), put your foot down and like most other scoobs you can see the needle fall.
I love mine and am not going back to Impreza's .. no way. I have seen the light and it's in the shape of a Forester
Avalyn.

Didn't you pick the RS6 over the Forester before?

Avalyn - thanks for the feedback, read the search threads before but was keen on some 'up to date' feedback.
Sub97 - ask me again on Monday
Andy - that I did, but (and I can say this now looking back without any of the rose-tint that ownership brings) it was dreadfully dreadfully dull! Beautiful, rapid, rare, practical, but none of that matters to me if it's dull when the roads get interesting.
I'm hoping the Forester Sti Litchfield might be the 'do-it-all' car I've been looking for for so long
