Charade GTti 184 bhp on stock internals
Did a rolling road day on Sunday for the Daihatsu Charade GTti owners club I run. Some very impressive results with the top car putting out 182.3bhp all on stock internals. SOme very clever home tuning with home made hybrid form a Maserati biturbo ansd Daihatsu Fourtrack turbo diesel turbo.
The guys is still running a very unsophisticated ECU and was leaning out a little running stock injectors. Still the engine looks like its running pretty well as you can see form the print out.

Hoping to be running in the 13s for 1/4 mile times this year.
Pretty impressive from a 3 cylinder 993 cc car on stabndard internals. Expecting to see 240-250bhp form anohter car in about a month again on stock internals. THats a huge increase over the std 99bhp !

There are a couple coming up for sale. Guy spent ages doing one up, car JTuner were trying to buy, but now he's moving to Portugal. He's based near Watford and won't want a fortune probabaly about £1500, let me know if you are interested.
A GTti with about 150bhp is quicker than my Impreza Turbo so with so little weight god only knows what this 180bhp plus one is like !

That's a nice smooth power curve!
How much does a Charade weigh? Power to weight has to be good with 180bhp
Bet they sound good with a free-flowing exhaust too, are they a 120-degree triple?
