Default Audi A4 2.5 TDi Avant Quattro

Hi Folks

Was wondering if anyone has had some experiance with with this model of Audi. Wondering how much poke the engine has and what sort of MPG to expect.

Was looking at a 2002 180bhp model.

Thanks

I had a 2003/53 Quattro Sport GmbH 180bhp Estate last year. Didnt find it particularly fast. Took it to AMD and got 210bhp/ 310lb/ft and still didnt feel that fast.

Good points:
Looked good with the GmbH bodykit
Nice interior
Decent stereo
Good mid range torque
V6 growl sounds good for a diesel
35mpg
AWD good when weather was bad
Good motorway cruiser
Not that common

Bad Points
Too light/lifeless steering
Oversensitive traction control (best turned off)
Not that quick (felt very heavy)
35mpg
Not much fun on country lanes
Sport suspension too hard
Servicing was expensive
