Default BMW Z4 M Coupe

I've had a TVR Cerbera for 3.5 years now so I'm thinking it's time for a change. Thought about the new M3 but the thing I don't like is that it's not "special" in the way that the TVR is, and we already have one 3-series on our driveway.

However, the Z4 M Coupe is (IMHO) quite nice-looking, seems to have enough grunt, etc. Anyone got experience of owning? I've got a test drive booked for tomorrow.

Drove one today. Nice

Hair-trigger throttle can induce some kangaroo petrol moments though.

Saw one in dark blue today at M and S in the car park, looked stunning.

You'll soon get used to that and understand how to control it. Do a search on Z4M and if you still need some answers let me know. The only mods you'll need to do are remove the CDV, fit the CSL wheels and a strut brace although I doubt the efficacy of the strut brace but apparently Evo liked the version they tested.

Yeah, I read the EVO article and thought the strut brace would be a plan.

CDV = clutch delay valve right? My wife's 320 Cd has one, and TBH it doesn't really bother me.

It will bother you when you launch from the toll booths at Dartford and it sounds like you've mullered the transmission.
