The (not quite) dream garage challenge
Been having some fun at work with this one...
Every car in your household has been wiped out by a freak accident. The insurance company is offering 50k in full settlement but you are restricted to only buying things that are for sale in Pistonheads classifieds (however unlikely that may be, it makes you think about it! )
You can buy as many or as few cars as you like but you have to make sure all your family needs are covered - if you need a people carrier and a workhorse deisel, that's what you buy. You might want to do it all on a new style RS4 but only if your missus doesn't need a shopping trolley for the school run.
My choice for this week:
Mile muncher for longer trips and passengers in comfort:
Audi S4 4.2 V8 Quattro 4 Door (2004) - £24,995
Day to day, shorter trips and the occasional hoon:
mitsubishi evo 6 - £10,000
Trackdays and sunny sunday afternoons:
porsche boxter S 3.2 (2001) - £14,995
10 quid left for a couple of magic trees and some screenwash

Nice choices!
Hopefully see some more through the day.
Bloke at work went for an S8 and a Noble but I didn't think that really met the day to day requirement. S8 a bit big, Noble not that practical.
