Is there anyway to tell by looking at the dash if a new shape Audi A4 (2006) has BOSE fitted ?

I'm looking at a car on the net, A4, 2006, that has DVD Nav Professional, and the salesman "says" it has BOSE, but I was wondering if by looking at a pic of the front cabin/dash - there's a definite give-away for the BOSE fitment ?

I thought the speakers had the bose logo on them? think the bose equiped stereo was called the concert?

if the car is a 2006 SE it should have bose has standard. S-line models have it as standard too.

Bose will be the speakers (and poss additional amp). The head unit will be audi (or whoever manufacturer them for them). For example I have the Symphony stereo in my A6 and you can get it with or without the bose setup.

On my old TT, the words "BOSE" were displayed on the stereo when you switched it on....pretty sure that's standard on all BOSE equipped Audis.

BOSE logo is on the front speaker covers. The Nav Plus unit doesn't display the logo for some unknown reason as the Concert & Symphony units do. I'm sure all 2006 A4's have had it FOC as a promotion this (last) year.

its a 2006, S-LINE Quattro, so from your comments I guess its standard.
