Will Porsche shoot him?

 

No, but they may sell Audi to raise the cash they need to sort out VW

 

Quite ironic really when you think about it, 15 years ago it was Porsche in trouble and fighting off a VW takeover.

Maybe VW should have looked a bit more closely at the financial straits the big US car companies were in before they tried to emulate them:rolleyes

 

I doubt that. Audi probably make more cash than VW. More likely they'll sell off Bugatti and Lamborghini.

They might quosh any plans to make the R8 more powerful too. Porsche can't have an R8 beating it's own 911. Ditto Gallardo.

 

Bugatti ans Lambo will be safe from a sell off. It'll be great if Audi is sold off to Toyota or some other Japanese manufacturer!!

 

Porsche will be far better served by keeping Lambo at least in house - that way they can place the model ranges to compliment each other, not compete.
