Land Rover Owners Club
....is there such a thing as a Land Rover equivalent to Scoobynet??
Considering buying a Defender TD SWB and was wondering if there was a forum I could browse to get an idea about what to look for when checking potential purchases.
Anyone on here got any experiences with the Defender Diesels??

Landrover monthly magazines are the ones to buy although I used to own one I never found a decent web forum to frequent.
Things to look out for are bulkhead and chassis rust, leaking front swivels and thats about it.
Leaking front swivels are easily cured by draining the oil out and refilling with a one-shot grease.
Nice choice of motor though i love em

1993 plate, but rebuilt about 2 years ago. 200Tdi, and has been spot on so far - owned it since Sept.
I've not looked at any LR forums for a while, but I think the Land Rover Monthly was among the more populated ones. None anything like as busy as this though....
