Mitsubishi Shogun Sport - Any Experiences?
Yes, I've heard they are a bit slow and dated but they are big and way cheaper than a Discovery so I am seriously considering one on a 2 year lease at £235 per month.
Can't wait to see the back of the Saab due to lack of practicality

They are nowhere near the size of the Discovery, the standard shogun is on par with the disco.
The sport has a very dated 2.5td (japs have 2.8td & better fuel system). It wont pull your foreskin back , but you can get a mitsubishi approved bhp increase.
Decent spec though

They are based on the previous L200(pickup),but they do look quite good in Warrior spec. Not too bad for that sort of thing, but they seem to be becoming pretty heavy depreciators.

Had one for 3 years now, and cant knock it, it tows the wifes horse box with 2 horses in, wherever she goes, on and off road. Yes, it may be basic compared to the new variant diesels, but it does what it says on the tin.
I also use it to tow the car trailer for the scoobs, plus tool boxes etc, and it sits happily with a couple hundred kilos of toolboxes, 4/5 people onboard, and a trailer and car weighing 2+ ton combined. Totally practical and ideal for our situation.
Ours has done over 70000 miles of pretty hard use, i dont hang about when towing, and dont take long to get to the speed i want to travel at, and only 2 weeks ago, i had to replace the clutch on it due to wear and tear. Its like a new car again.
Biggest dilema i have over next few months is what to consider replaceing it with
Brother in law has their Animal/Warrior 52 plate for sale at the moment, low mileage i believe.
