Default Well I've gone and done it again!!!

Yep I've changed the car again...And this time I've really done it. You know my feelings on cars, whatever car I have at the time is the best car....Well I've always loved diesels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And so I've bought this...No mocking or I won't come on here again.LOL.

it's a cdti 150/252 with a soon to be fitted DTUK tuning box (so that'll be 190bhp and 300lbs/ft which will go some way to relieve the pain of the EVO going.

Same as me (company car). Hope you're is better than mine. I've had loads of problems - well it's a Vauxhall after all!

Good for economy, 50MPG+ can be had if driven carefully, and, yes they do pull well. No need to rev beyond 3k though.

They look a damn sight better than the golf though mate, and having driven both, the interior is just as good if not better, the engine pulls better (in sport mode!) and it grips and handles better....IMHO of course.

Good luck with it Dave. I had a Fabia vRS last year, that was pretty good TBH - chipped to 160WHP and 300lb/ft it wasn't shy. Loads of niggles though

I would be interested to know how it performs. As ever, keep us in the loop

TBH 'Sport Mode' is a load of pish - IMHO

It does not provide anymore power, all it does is effectively make the accelerator pedal more sensitive, i.e. press it part way in sport mode and it's like depressing it further in 'normal' mode. Don't let it fool you, it's no faster in 'sport mode' no matter what people say - just wear heavy shoes
