M3 rear tyre footage from Bedford
Here's a short clip from my bullet cam of the rear wheel around the one of the hairpins at Bedford. Sound quality is a bit crap as i'm still playing with the mic positioning ( basically you can only hear full throttle or wind )
Just shows you how much force the tyres go through

I will post up a roof shot later once you tube up loads it

Im still playing around at the moment for the best set-up. The exhaust mic does'nt really work that well on the exhaust as it picks up to much wind noise and not enough other sound. I may try it in the engine bay next as it will pick up all engine noise and no wind hopefully. Other than that i might just use the AV line mic that comes in the kit, but this is only good for inside the car and as its a line mic it picks up every knock to the lead so it will need taping somewhere to avoid interferance. Probably going to buy a 12v supply for the camera aswell as the battery pack to hold 8 AA batterys only powers the camera for about 30 minutes, and that turns out to be bloody annoying when you have just done a couple of good laps and get no picture to show for it

The exhaust mic is a special mic that suppose to sit on/near the exhaust. Its not supposed to pick up quiet noises and not supposed to pick up wind noise.
I've also got the AV line mic that supposed to be inside the car but it seemed a bit sensitive when i initially set it up. Still playing around for the best set-up so its either set up the line mic better inside the car or try it in the engine bay with the exhaust mic
In your experiance, what has given the best results???
