Hmmm, I`m sure it`s fantastic but I can`t quite see the point of the RS4 Cab.

It`s far too expensive new and will probably depreciate like crazy. A nearly new 997 cab is a better bet isn`t it?

I only like RS Audi`s as Avants really.

It`s the answer to a question nobody asked to be honest.

Not my choice mate.

I have the saloon which after two weeks was rear ended.

The saloon is a fantastic car, there really aren't many better out there in terms of all round package.

Press the S button, the seat hugs you tighter and the exhaust note changes a few tones lower and the beast is unleashed.

Yep, I read your post a while ago. Are they repairing your car?

I must admit I love the idea of the RS4 but I wouldn`t go for a cabrio, Avant first and then saloon. Debadged of course and in a nice discreet colour like Dolphin grey.

I`m only about 40 grand short

Id love a RS4 cab. Obviously slightly slower than the avant and saloon but once summer time hits and the ladies come flocking who cares

Yep, repaired. Should be ready after Crimbo.

I have the saloon and it's in Daytona Grey (See other thread).

Not debadged. Tempted though!

Fantastic as a saloon and I am sure its great as a cab, but, like M3 cabrios it just seems so wrong, a focused, honed higher performance uber saloon turned into a cabrio, softening all its hard core appeal and you hav to pay more for the privelidge !

Hope they do a good job on your saloon, I know you wanted it wrote off (and who can blame you) but hopefully the body and paint uys will work their magic and you wont be able to tell, I have seen some miracles performed in my time, a good body and paint man is a real artist and yours looked minor compared to some of the transformations performed.

Also, if you arent happy, just reject it !

RS4's aren't as fast as I thought they would be. How are you finding the performance? What fuel do you use out of interest?

Compared to what?

I assume an M3 as per your name.

Well the thing with the 4.2 V8 NA is that it doesn't give you a kick in the back like the old B5 Bi-turbo model. It just gets from 0-100 effortlessly.

I had an M6 for about three weeks whilst mine was off the road and that is undoubtedly the quickest car I have ever been near and mates with 997's have also agreed to that.

The RS4 is a very quick car, no doubt, just don't see how those comments can be made or how you can compare them without listing details of your experiences.

I have an RS4 and as far as performance is concerned it's a monster, might not be as quick as the type ra(350bhp/370ltb) but it is very quick indeed. Evo tested the rs4 earlier this year it was only .2 seconds behind an fq340 around a track so that says it all.

It is an excellent package with class and performance and am sure the rs4 will **** all over the Porsche. :d

My rs4 is for sale in the stocklist below if anyone is interested
