Default Evo 9 makes 928bhp

Norris's evo 9, makes 928bhp and 739 lbs of torque, on the bench dyno, well done, he may need it for next year ,

Or is that a stupid question

I think it is more about marketing his tuning business than doing it cause he needs that much power. I guess it allows people to feel confident in his abilities to tune owners cars to 500 ish.

Pretty impressive I say.

Agree with the above. If he can run 900 ish reliably, albeit with little mileage no doubt, then i would feel secure in running 500+ day to day.

Car is used for Time attack and demos so does a few miles (obviously not road mileage), generally fairly reliable engine wise although it has had issues with hoses and manifolds as far as I gather, no worse than the Scooby equivalent cars though!!!

As Mangel says above its pretty reliable considering the power. Did well at this years TOTB where other similar powered cars fell by the wayside.

Watching that video I reckon a well set up hot hatch would give it something to think about round that sprint track. Spend umpteen thousands getting yourself a 900bhp car as a show piece for your company, then have its **** kicked by a 172 round a sprint circuit

Great for the strip, not much good for anything else IMHO

Did you miss the rest of my post? Great advert for a company, build a car made for the drag strip then drive it round a short tight sprint circuit.

No, but then I might as well say "a 747 is crap around London". I think you just like to put things down or something.

Not in the slightest I just don't see the point in a 900bhp EVO other than for use on a drag strip.
