In which case I hope it serves you well..........Bangers are the way forward. My £350 beauty is coming up to a year old (In my hands) and its cost me £9.99 for rear pads and a can of WD40

You are so right. I have lost about £30K in depreciation on cars in the last 5 years and it makes me sick. Current 'main' car is on a lease which expires in May 2007. After that it will be economy motoring all the way - Much to my snobby wife's annoyance!!!

Lasted 2 years with no expense, the wife then drove it for another year and she loved it.
Drivers leccy window stopped working so we binned it!
I loved the fact that it didnt matter if I locked it or not, just the fact that I could leave it anywhere and the only risk would be that I came back to find a "Police Aware" sticker on it!

Best cheap runner for me was a £300 MK3 Golf 1.8L.... bomb proof.... never went wrong and spent more on Optimax & Octane in a month than it cost to buy... I love cheap motoring
