Saab 9-3 linear
been offered an 04 150 BHP 6 speed diesel cheapish
any thoughts on these
need a vehicle for company useage and specs look good on thes 45MPG too and a nice engine i think

Not a bad car, they are cheap anyway, so i guess you have got it really cheap! GM based cars, but a bit better - not as good as the Mondeo IMO but if it is cheap

Looks nice on the drive, quick and handles well in normal conditions ie up and down the motorway, sitting in traffic etc.
Linear does not have too many bells and whistles and the interior a bit flimsy feeling compared to other cars of this type.
Nice image of being a cut above Mondeo Man without being Mr B.M.W Tosser.
Expect the occasional non scheduled trip to the garage to have things fixed but you arn't going to be there so often the service manager asks you to be godparents to his kids.
They also do a dealer approved performance upgrade for it which is along the lines of PPP which livens things up further without nobbling the economy.
