My bro had one for about 8 months with no problems 03 plate
i had it for 2 weeks while he was on holiday and loved it only thing i could falt it on was if you put your foot down you can hear the engine(prety loud) and not the exhaust, for this reson id look at a petrol with a good gas conversion,
but all in all very nice i can see why there are so many on the roads
ooh and expect 20 /25 mpg
and yes id have one tomorow

I bought one for the missus a few months ago.

Pay less for one without satnav.
Lookout for those that have the VIP package (free servicing) because that can save you £££
Despite being a welly colour, avoid green.
Tyres aren't cheap on 20" rims ! She's seeing about 27mpg on her daily commute (part gunning it, part stuck in traffic) which isn't TOO bad for a 2.7tonne car shaped like a brick.
I think it's a great little car, drives nicely too.
NOTE: They've just brought out the V8 diesel (another 100bhp/100lbft but the same mpg) so factor that into your negotiations and let the buyer know the td6 is set for a drop.

Depending on how long you keep the car I would consider the V8 petrol as it is quieter, faster and £5k cheaper than the equivalent diesel. MPG wise, the petrol will do 16/18 mpg the diesel as has been said may hit 27 - i wouldn't expect more than 25 but it depends where you live.
Vogue is the best spec to have, the HSE doesn't have the SAT NAV among other things, and the VIP package was on the last of models without the reverse camera [up to 54 reg I think]. Range Rovers suffer with electrical faults mainly. I.E It will suggest gearbox/suspension/electric window failure, a trip to the dealers and a 'reset' will sort most issues [which is better than the old car]. Diesel cars had 18's, petrol cars had 19's and optional 20's were available. £150-£200 / corner for those puppy's
