Daewoo Matiz - How the heck do you access the ECU
A work colleague has a Daewoo Matiz (stop laughing at the back) and it has a developed a fault which Mr RAC man and the local mechanic want to diagnose by plugging into the ECU and reading the fault code.
However, Mr RAC and Mr Mechanic couldn't plug into the ECU because the connecter wasn't standard (ODBII??) One of these guys said its because its one of these imports from Cyprus - don't see what this has to do with it.
His only option is to have the car trailered 60 miles to Swansea to the nearest Daewoo garage who supposedly can get the car fixed.
Anyone know if theres another solution? Personally the car is barely worth the cost involved.
