Awesome cars

Hairdressers must be pretty hardcore in your part of the world, if you think they're driving these

I am getting one hopefully shortly purely as a toy for when I am in the mood, early ones are at around 10k. Ever since I blatted one around Bedford autodrome I have wanted one, preferably non-turbo though.

I was a passenger in a Stage 3 Turbo the other night with exhaust, chargecooler and remap. It was running semi-slicks, was stripped out even more and had some other handling mods. 0-100mph in about 10.5 seconds and it was a hell of a lot of fun

Owned one of these before the scoob and I have to say nothing else I've driven comes close to the experience of this.

If it had a lotus badge they wouldn't be half as derided as they are by the unwashed masses.

great cars, very scary in the wet, you really do have to concentrate if you press on.

What type of power is stage 3? I'd have thought if over 280 HP it would crack the 10's to 100

Standard = 197bhp
Stage 1: remap ~220bhp
Stage 2: miltek exhaust + remap ~240bhp
Stage 3: miltek exhaust + chargecooler + remap ~255bhp
Stage 4: as above + different turbo, etc = sky is the limit

Great little cars - I dont think they made all that many either, so I expect they'll hang around the 10k mark for a long time. Defo future classic.

a work colleague of mine has one and i have to say they are awsome, he has the turbo and is looking at stage 1 and 2 as we speak - the feeling of speed in these things is unreal great great fun

out of curiosity how would it fair against my 280bhp MY99 WRX import? Where both curious... im guessing he'd be quicker??

Standard fairly close but with Stage 2 (exhaust and remap) he'll take you IMHO
