just rang to get a quote for the other halfs saxo, she brought it of an old lady we used to know, it had 26k on it, now has 30k and is a p reg. citreon wanted £520 for a full service and cambelt change ! thats half what the car cost her ! i know it might be cheap compared to a scooby but jesus. oh and i rang to find out what they actually did as she didnt know what to ask about, they quoted her £150 all in for the smallest service, i rang 4 days later and its £172
main dealers what a rip off ! so anybody up for the job ???

Its been a fair few years since I lived in Nottingham, and I have a poor memory

I think there was a place called the Citroen Clinic where I used to get my Pug GTi looked after. Lovely guy who works there, used to do some sort of grass racing. He was the only person I would let work on my car for non-warranty work as his standards were so high, but it has been like 7 years since I used him now.

The place is over on the east side of the city if I remember correctly. The garage is in a small industrial estate at the end of the road just set off to the right hand side.

He is not cheap mind, in some cases he was a little more expensive than some other Pug main dealers (there was a good Pug main dealer in Beeston just off the market place).

Where abouts are you in Notts?

There is a Pug/Citroen specialist inbetween Ollerton and Retford (I take my GTI-6 there), but this might be a fair distance from you..
