yellow paint jobs??
Seen a nice Vrs Octavia - all perfect apart from the colour which is yellow - can't decide if it's flippin brill or a crime against humanity.

As standard I think yellow is pretty awful on cars, BUT I'm still a big fan and would seriously consider a yellow car because with a few choice additions (like black wheels) I think yellow looks fantastic.
Just my 2p.

My last car before the scooby was a yellow cavalier with black alloys and detailing. Nice bright audi imola yellow. Like you say, it depends on the car and the extras. Vauxhall pineapple yellow and BMW dakar yellow just looked washed out IMHO

Yellow can look really good but it just doesn`t suit some cars.
I think the Skoda yellow is a light, almost pastel colour isn`t it? Hmmm not sure about that one.
I almost bought a Imola Yellow Audi S3 once but bottled it and bought a Metallic Grey one instead. The yellow one looked fantastic but I felt I was too long in the tooth to have it.
PS, that yellow Evo looks good Misty!

it was worse on the metal than through the snaps on autotrader - a bit like iffy chicken korma - thanks for your advice all but i'm not sure that shade, that car and my age are an acceptable combination.

Yellow cars...

Looks ok to me - I wouldn't have a 'normal' yellow car though.
Bright yellow only I think. Agree about the nasty pale custard yellow
Not mine btw....Mine's red

I don't like custard yellow, but once saw a MK4 Golf in a really washed out yellow - you couldn't even call it pastel...which IMHO looked excellent. Never saw another, though.

I was split between ordering my Fabia vRS in either the new Sprint Yellow (which is a very bright yellow) or Corrida Red.
In the end I bottled it and went for the red. I just felt the yellow was a bit limiting come re-sale time.
