Going to the Auctions to pick up a April 05 Audi 225tt with 17k mileage and one previous owner.
Its mint, what can I expect to pay at a BCA auction up North.
Any you chaps have a trade Glasses guide handy ??

Before you ask its for my mother !!! And its the colour she wants as well.
Thanks in advance

You can get a free Glass's Guide valuation on the Vauxhall website. I put the details for the TT in and it came up with £19,300.00 part exchange price in excellent condition. Have a look on the site and see if you get the same figure. So the trade price presumably is less. Geoff.

Surely worst time to buy an old shape TT?? New one just released so later TT's values will plummet (well go down a fair bit at least). Wait til next year and pick up the same car for a lot less.

Thx chaps
Thats the one Mr Banana. Auction View is a good tool ! Hoping for 18k but she wants to go to 20k !!!!
My mother has always wanted a TT and for her it has to be a blue mk1, she will keep it for 8yrs plus so the new one wont be an issue. I think the values have been knocked already, certainly the trade arent as interested in the mk1 as they used to be.

Better if you can line up a couple of cars, as you can guarantee youll be bidding against another private bidder who wants the same car as you.
We went to Brighouse for a car for the missus, and the prices they went through at were no different to the private sales on autotrader, and you obviously cant test-drive or haggle
Good luck with it though, you could be lucky!
Chris
(P.S. only go to the mid-week auctions too)
