Wait for the Type RR which should be release next summer?

The Type R uses the same engine but the RR should be around the 240bhp mark.

the type RR is only a rumour at the moment....................honda have not officially said its even going to be made yet afaik.

If the rumours on the new type-R is true is will be the same 197bhp engine (although why they cant make it 220bhp seeing this is what the japs get already- bloody cheek as the cars are all assembled in swindon!!) but it will alot lighter apparently.

If the type RR came to fruition i've heard a rumour it would be 4wd?

I seem to remember reading somewhere the new Type R will use the 2.2 engine instead of the 2.0.

Same bhp at 197, but increased torgue so you don't have to work it so hard to get it to go.

I would have said more to do with fuel maps - are they not all 100 RON in Japan?

no, the dc5 integra has the exact same version of the k20 forget the end code that means its 220 instead of 197bhp

but in the JDM ep3 with the 220bhp version the redline is noticable higher on the rev counter than the uk version.
