Default Who knows about Range Rovers ?

So i have just had x2 tyres fitted to a RR, and the guy at the tyre place said you need to open your boot, turn the ignition on and turn your hazrards on to jack it up ?

Is he yanking my chain ?

Possibly something to do with self-levelling suspension? On my classic RR, you had to turn off the air suspension (switch under rear of drivers seat) to disable it. Leaving the driver's door open had the same effect but not such a good idea, especially on the hard shoulder!

New one on me. Just had some new tyres fitted to my wife's P38 RR. It has the adjustable suspension so I just put it up to the off road setting before they the guys started jacking the car up.

Suspension took a little while to sort itself out when I drove away, but all fine once it had levelled out.
