I like the 928 a lot, this is not my cuppa tea really, do not loke the slats on the sides at all. Nice wheels mind and the interior loooks in good nick.

IU would rather have a std one

This car is an absolute dream, in stunning RED this PORSCHE 928 STROSEK conversion, 4.5ltr V8 Manual, (in the March porsche mag "true classic and getting rarer in the manual mode").
And with hideous conversions like this, getting rarer

Don't think that it's an old classic which some chav has riced up after he bought it for two grand on fleabay. These Strosek kits were around at the time the 928 was sold, that's mid- to late-80s when they still cost God knows how much.

I'd still love one (928S2), but I couldn't realistically afford to cherish or run it

I can't imagine why one of your posts might have been removed

The best bit is this guy wants £9000 for it! How bizarre is that!

I bet it was a lovely car before it was ruined!

From the advert.

The PORSCHE 928 STROSEK ultra wide body conversion that has been professionally built in Germany, and is probably the only one of its kind, at exactly seven feet wide

Wasn't that the biggest size there was back when it was new? I remember the Countach's rear wheels being that size some time in the 80ies

I'll admit that it isnt exactly my thing either, but arent Strosek quite a big name in aftermark Porsche bits? If only bodykits and the like as opposed to mechanical bits..

Cheers, Greg.

From that rear view, it looks a little like an 80's endurance racer.

Pretty sure that the fattest tyres on a road car were 365mm on a Pantera GTS.

Not gonna argue over 20mm though...........
