Drove one the other day, albeit only about a mile into town and back - we had one in stock at work awaiting delivery and I needed to post some letters before the post office closed

Very nice interior and pulled well, didn't drive it as thoroughly as I'd have liked as I didn't get chance to but it was a lot better than I thought it was going to be.

Attention anyone who has just bought a Skoda Octavia VRS from a dealer in Chesterfield, It was used by the dealer to go to the post office before it was delivered to you !!! And the Daft Lad who drove it admitted it on a public BBS

Test drove one a couple of months ago - liked it. Well made and well equipped. Looks nice in black with the optional 18" alloys.

Went well, but not as brutal as my remapped Octy vRS Mk1

The website for the Octtavia is crap in my opinion.
So, in light that that what is the spec of the new car?

Are there such things as warranty friendly performance packs etc?

You weren't even trying... The Skoda website is one of the best, as it allows you to download pdf's of all the printed brochures, which include all prices, specs and options.
